The money-saving expert has warned that a lot of Scots could be missing out on extra cash.
Martin Lewis has issued an urgent message for Scots to check their eligibility for Universal Credit if their household is earning under £40,000.
However, as reported by the Liverpool Echo, he insisted that there is still no harm in checking in an urgent plea. Martin said: "My rule of thumb is if you have family income of under £40,000 then you should absolutely check on a benefits calculator whether you are entitled to Universal Credit."
