A MANHUNT has been launched for an escaped prisoner amid an ongoing incident at Glasgow Airport.
an “alert” was issued by Counter Terrorism Command earlier today in relation to Daniel Abed Khalife who escaped HMP Wandsworth this morning .
One passenger told the Glasgow Times cops were checking travellers passports manually and they queued for over an hour.It is understood the airport issue is a UK-wide problem.It is believed the escapee left the prison at 7.50am.According to authorities, he has links to the Kingston area and it is believed he likely remains in London, although he may have travelled further afield.
Commander Dominic Murphy, Head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, said: “We have a team of officers who are making extensive and urgent enquiries in order to locate and detain Khalife as quickly as possible.
