The Manchester Primark store on Market Street was forced to suddenly close while busy with shoppers on Wednesday .
Security at the store were reportedly stopping shoppers from entering the store for a short while. It has been confirmed that a 'technical issue' meant the large store had to temporarily close. The technical issue had affected the till network, meaning that the store had to be shut while work was carried out to fix it. A spokesperson for Primark said: "Earlier today we experienced technical issues with our till network which meant we had to temporarily close our Manchester Market Street store. "The issue has been resolved and the store has now reopened. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused."
