Shock reports have emerged over Manchester City's interest in the former Liverpool-linked midfielder
Manchester City are allegedly 'exploring a deal' for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matheus Nunes.
Earlier today Eberechi Eze was linked with a £70m switch from South London to the North West by the Mail Online, and now the latest candidate to be named, this time by David Ornstein, is Nunes of Wolves. The Athletic's man reports that the Portugal international is of high interest as Pep Guardiola considers a small group of candidates. It may be too late in the window to force a deal, although money talks and the Midlands club's cash-strapped status could be to the champions' advantage to get their way.
