Emergency services have descended on Piccadilly Gardens after a bus ploughed into the City Tower building this afternoon.
Several people are feared to be injured after a bus smashed into a building in Manchester city centre.
Transport for Greater Manchester said the tram stop is currently closed, the Manchester Evening News reports. They said: "Due to an ongoing police incident involving a bus, Piccadilly Gardens is currently closed to all bus services. Witnesses have described 'horrendous' scenes as police officers, fire fighters and ambulance crews rushed to the incident which happened shortly after 1pm on Monday.
Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 1pm today police were called to reports of a collision involving a bus and a shop in Piccadilly Gardens.
