'What kind of first impression does that make? It's filthy, and there's no excuse for it really'
Manchester Airport users have been left fuming over the 'disgraceful level of filth' found in the hub's toilets.
The 63-year-old, who used to work in healthcare, warned it 'raises the concerns of transmission of any kind of bacterial infection'. Airport bosses have apologised and said toilets are inspected and cleaned throughout the day.They also said 'abuse of our facilities is completely unacceptable' and urged all toilet users to 'treat them with respect'.
He also said he worried the state of the toilets gave a bad first impression to foreign visitors to the UK. "First impressions really count," he added.Ken said he had travelled extensively in his life, but branded his experience in the Manchester Airport bathroom as 'the most disgusting airport experience I have witnessed anywhere in the world'. He said he wanted to put pressure on Manchester Airport to ensure nobody else had to experience the 'filth' he was exposed to.
