Stephen Fullthorpe repeatedly kicked and punched a stranger in Northampton last year
A Northampton man who admitted to attacking a stranger has been jailed for a year. Stephen Fullthorpe, 44, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm for his role in the incident in Far Cotton, Northampton on July 25, 2022.
The second, later identified as Fullthorpe, went on to repeatedly kick and punch him before leaving the scene. The victim was left heavily bloodied and when he sought medical attention the next day, was found to have multiple facial fractures. Fullthorpe, formerly of Blenheim Road, Northampton, was charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, which he admitted at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on August 29 this year. On October 11, he appeared before Northampton Crown Court where he was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment.
