Man stabbed and run over in 'retaliation' following 'failed attack' in Ancoats, trial hears
Three men; Rushaun Brown, 24, Meshia Newby, 24, and Jermaine Leahong, 22, are charged with the murder of Neri Morse; an offence of wounding in relation to his 22-year-old nephew, Driece Morse; and having possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife.

On footage shown to the court, a loud scream could be heard before someone in the car can be heard saying: “Stop, stop, stop, he’s run him over bruv.” He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where he gave little information about what happened. He was found to have a 2cm cut to his buttock and a 15cm cut to his leg, it was said.
