He says it was a brilliant decision
A man who spent an astonishing £2,000 to have thousands on tiny dots tattooed onto his head as 'hair' says the 'life-changing' decision has "boosted his confidence" and was "worth the pain." Anthony Donnellan, 44, opted against a traditional hair transplant when his began to fall out, and instead went for a 'scalp micro-pigmentation', which is designed to recreate the look of hair.
Mr Donnellan says that his wife is also a big fan of the new look, joking: " lets me in the bed now - I don't have to sleep on the couch. She was delighted with it." Mr Donnellan said he chose opted for the tattooing procedure when he heard about the problems friends were having with the traditional transplant. He said: "I've heard how painful the full hair transplants are. I'm impatient and I like to rush stuff and get it done.
He said: "You're essentially changing someone's life. It might not seem like a big deal for some people but for others it's life-changing.
