The 37-year-old is alleged to have been attacked while queueing for food at the Homeless Project Scotland facility on Argyle Street on Sunday night.They said: "A man was slashed with a knife at the soup kitchen service.
"He was attacked while waiting in the queue for food. Paramedics had to work to contain the bleeding."The man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.Officers from Police Scotland confirmed a 44-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
A spokesperson said: “A 44 -year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault of a 37-year-old man which happened at Argyle Street in Glasgow around 8.30pm Sunday, November 13.
