A man is in hospital
Cops swarmed to McDonald's at the city's Trongate on Wednesday evening after a report of an assault.Officers are now investigating the attack.spokesperson said:"Around 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, we received a report of an assault at Trongate, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 45-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by ambulance.A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 19:30 on August 2 to attend an incident at Trongate, Glasgow.McDonald's was contacted for comment.
