A 35-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police were called to Ladymuir Crescent to reports of an injured man shortly after 8pm on Sunday evening.

A 35-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University hospital. He is receiving treatment for serious but not life-threatening injuries. A firearm was used in the incident but the victim was not struck by bullets. A bladed weapon was also used during the terrifying attack.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Sunday, 13 August, 2023, police received a report of a 35-year-old man being found injured on Ladymuir Crescent, Glasgow.
