Accused claims sex was consensual

A trial concerning a 36-year old man accused of raping a schoolgirl in his apartment commenced today .

Ms Dinsmore said that on the evening of August 31, 2017 Nicholea and the complainant were part of a group out socialising in Belfast. Ms Dinsmore said: “She told him to get off her and she said this multiple times. She told him she didn’t want to have sex, she told him to stop multiple times and he continued for a period to have sex with her before he stopped.”
