Officers were called to Stoneymeadow Road this morning and the road was closed between Blantyre and East Kilbride
The alarm was raised just after 8am on Monday and Stoneymeadow Road, between Blantyre and East Kilbride, was sealed off to the public soon after.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
A police spokesperson said: "We were made aware of concern for a man in the Stoneymeadow Road area of Blantyre at 8.10am on Monday, September 4.
