A man has been found dead after cops sealed off a stretch of Lanarkshire road following calls of concern for a person.
A major stretch of road in Lanarkshire has been sealed off by police following reports of concern for a man.
Stoneymeadow Road between East Kilbride and Blantyre has been cordoned off and drivers were urged to avoid the area around 8am on Monday morning.spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for a man in the Stoneymeadow Road area of Blantyre at 8.10am on Monday, September 4, 2023.“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”Stoneymeadow Road is currently closed between Blantyre and East Kilbride due to a police incident.
