BREAKING: Man dies following ‘incident’ at construction site for new Everton stadium.

Police were called to the scene at around 1pm, and the man was taken to Aintree Hospital where he was later declared dead.

In a social media post, Merseyside Police said: ‘We can confirm that a man has died after an incident at Bramley Moore Dock this afternoon.‘He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. His next of kin have been told and an investigation is underway.’Emergency services were called to the site this afternoon

Everton FC plan to move into the new stadium on the banks of the Mersey late next year, when they will leave their current home of Goodison Park.
