A man has died at a Manchester Airport car park after police received reports of "concern for his welfare".
Greater Manchester Police was called to the scene at Manchester Airport's Terminal 3 car park at around 9.20am this morning, Thursday, August 31. A spokesperson for the force said the man had died. They added his death was not being treated as suspicious. The Manchester Evening News report the car park at the airport had been taped off. The area was closed to members of the public and forensic officers were carrying out investigations within the cordon.GMP said in a brief statement: "At around 9.23am this morning , officers were made aware of a concern for welfare at a carpark at Manchester Airport Terminal 3. Sadly, a man died.
"His death is not currently being treated as suspicious. There is a scene in place and the airport carpark is currently closed whilst officers carry out their response." The following are helplines and support networks for people to talk to, mostly listed on the NHS Choices website.
