A man has died 17 days after he was attacked on his own doorstep in Wellingborough by "three males wearing black". The incident, which happened on Friday, November 25, between 8.45pm and 10pm on Highfield Road, is being treated as murder by police.

The 63-year-old victim was taken to hospital where he sadly died 17 days later on the morning of Monday . It is unknown if the suspects were using a vehicle.Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed three people in the area at the time knocking on doors or any other suspicious activity.
