Talented youngster Oscar Bobb made his senior debut for City as a late sub during the win over Fulham
Man City already have one Norwegian superstar but they might just have the makings of another in their ranks.
City boss Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of the Norwegian and handed him game time during the summer tour to Asia. There was transfer interest in the youngster this summer but City were always keen to retain his services and he can expect more first-team minutes as the campaign progresses. While he has a long way to go anywhere close to the achievements of his countryman, there is no doubt that Bobb, who moved to the Etihad in 2019 from Oslo-based Vålerenga, has a bright future.
He came on against Fulham on the right-hand side but is at home on either flank and can operate centrally or just off the front. He has excellent close control and dribbling ability as well as game intelligence beyond his years. City won't rush him, not with so many world-class options at their disposal, but his path into the senior set-up for club and country seems certain.
