A 30-year-old man has been charged
Colette Law, 27, was discovered lifeless in a tent in St Mary and St Nicholas Church in Lincolnshire, at around 9pm on Monday, July 17 by police.
Paul Neilson, 30, of no fixed address, was charged with the murder of Ms Law by Police on Sunday night, reports Lincolnshire Live.A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said on Sunday: "Neilson has been in police custody since his arrest, and was charged tonight. He remains in custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court in the morning."
Collette had moved down south to the Spalding area in May this year and was believed to be living rough in a tent near the church before her body was discovered. Her mum, Patricia, said: "Her laugh was infectious - anyone will tell you that - and everyone laughed with her. She was the life and soul of the party.
"She loved karaoke and her favourite colour was purple. She loved to dye her hair shades of purple. Knowing she is never going to walk through that door again, that I won't hear her voice again, has broken me."
