A 29-year-old man has been charged by cops over the alleged collision last month

The alleged collision took place on Calder Road at around 7.35am on Thursday, November 24. Police said at the time a 19-year-old woman was struck by a white Ford Transit van.

She was then taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The male driver of the van was uninjured. A spokesperson for the force said today: "Police in Edinburgh can confirm that a 29-year-old man has been charged in connection with a crash on Calder Road.
