A man was stabbed in Preston on Sunday
A man has been charged after a stabbing near Preston fire station which resulted in the victim being rushed to hospital.
The 22-year-old was taken to hospital, where he remains. His injuries are thankfully not life threatening.A 58-year-old man has since been arrested, and now charged. Stephen Dixon, 58, of Ribbleton Avenue, is charged with Section 18 wounding and possession of a knife. Police say they are looking into reports that windows were smashed at an address on Ribbleton Avenue on Friday as part of their enquiries.
