A man has been charged to court after allegedly ramming a patrol car in Northern Ireland, resulting in injuries to three police officers.

It's believed to have happened in the Tullyneill Road area of Newtownhamilton and resulted in three police officers receiving injuries.A PSNI statement said: "The man, aged 21, was charged with a number of offences including failing to stop for police, driving with excess alcohol, dangerous driving and possession of an offensive weapon.

"He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on Wednesday 22nd November. As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS."
