William Rooney, 22, is due to appear in court
A man has been charged after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in Stockport. An investigation was launched following the reported incident on Grimshaw Street i n Offerton on Wednesday, November 30.
William Rooney, 22, has now been charged with one count of sexual assault, Greater Manchester Police said in a statement issued this afternoon Mr Rooney, Era Mill Drive, Rochdale, has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court later today.
