Completely terrifying
A man attempting to sail around the UK for charity had to be rescued after his boat capsized off the Lancashire coast.
Volunteers said they rushed to the scene to check the man had suffered no injuries. They said Andrew Hill-Smith, who had left the Isle of White three months ago on a solo sail around the British aisles, was 'in good spirits and all ok'.The incident happened as Andrew was nearly two-thirds of the way through his sailing challenge. The RNLI helped transport his damaged dingy, which is less than 14ft long, to the station for an overnight stop and to make repairs.
"The Land Rover and crew headed to the location to check the gentleman had no injuries. Luckily he was in good spirits and all ok.
