The young woman died after a car mounted the kerb outside of a takeaway and ploughed into her and another pedestrian.Officers made an appeal to trace the driver of the car this morning, and West Mercia Police have now arrested a man on suspicion of murder. The driver mounted the kerb and ploughed into the pedestrians, killing a 22-year-old woman at around 3am, police have said.West Mercia Police said the second person sustained ‘minor injuries’.
