Man arrested after ‘throwing shotgun cartridges into Buckingham Palace’ ahead of King’s coronation
A man has been arrested for throwing shotgun cartridges into the grounds of Buckingham Palace just days before King Charles’ coronation is due to take place on Saturday.
A controlled explosion was carried out outside Buckingham Palace after a man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, the Metropolitan Police said. “There have been no reports of any shots fired, or any injuries to officers or members of the public.The incident comes just four days ahead of the historic coronation ceremony in which King Charles III will formally be crowned the monarch.
