He is set to appear again in court tomorrow
A man accused of murdering his wife has appeared in court. Philip Dafter, 32, appeared before Northampton Magistrates Court on Saturday, October 15, following the death of Diana Dafter.
The body of 36-year-old Mrs Dafter was discovered inside the family home shortly after midday on Friday, October 7. Dafter, of Lawrence Court, in Lower Mounts, Northampton, was charged on Friday, October 14, with her murder. British Transport Police found him with a number of serious stab injuries at London’s Euston Station, before detaining him. At Saturday's hearing, Dafter was remanded into custody until Tuesday, October 18, when he will appear at Northampton Crown Court.A post-mortem examination found Mrs Dafter had died from multiple stab wounds. Specialist search teams and forensic officers spent more than 72 hours in the property gathering evidence.
