The court heard from a number of witnesses on the second day of a trial, including from a woman who said Mr Kelly was at her home before the incident to organise supplying her with cocaine.
A man accused of murder was seen in a Costa Coffee shop after a fatal collision 'crying' with his head in his hands, a jury has heard.
Lorraine Smart said her cleaner Laura Smith had arranged for Mr Kelly to attend the home after they discussed purchasing cocaine. Under cross examination by defence barrister John Ryder KC she confirmed that Ms Smith seemed very happy to purchase what he called "crack cocaine". She said she saw two cars and lights, a car turning around and a "lot of commotion, shouting" which were predominantly a "man and woman's voice".
As the couple were in the car, a Range Rover drove past and stopped about five meters away before reversing around two meters towards them and driving off. Ms Smith, Ms Smart, Mr and Mrs Allen all gave evidence in the witness box, with a screen between them and Dann. Other footage included Dann racing into Costa after parking his car at the Marsh Mills retail park. His car was seen to be badly damaged, with a large crack in the driver's window and its offside door mirror casing missing.
In between his appeal for a reply, he said "oh my God, oh my God", "help me please, help me". The sound of his car seatbelt alarm can be heard as he got out of his vehicle and raced into the Costa Coffee shop and then muffled voices are heard, including Dann asking "please stay" to a staff member and a male staff member replying "we're not going anywhere, we're not going to go anywhere, we're right here, we're right here".
