A man has died in a Northamptonshire road traffic crash on the A5. The incident happened on Saturday, January 7, at about 7.25pm near the village of Potterspury.
A red Kia Sportage was travelling northbound and involved in a collision with a white and orange Mercedes box van going in the opposite direction. The driver of the Kia, a 64-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision."Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615, or Northamptonshire Police on 101. National Highways: East Midlands confirmed the road was shut for several hours with the police in attendance.
