A man who was stabbed to death in Manchester following a 'night of violence' has been named by police as Jarvell Morgan, 20.
The stabbing happened in the early hours of Monday, August 15. Greater Manchester Police have since confirmed that Javell did not die as a result of a shooting as was originally thought.. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have information relating to the incident that may assist their investigation.
A shooting took place in Moss Side on Claremont Road, and hours later, a knife brawl broke out on Roseberry Street which saw multiple people injured, the MEN reports. “At present we do not believe these incidents are linked but we remain open minded as we continue to follow lines of enquiry. Four men remain in custody in relation to the assault on Roseberry Street and we continue to support the family of the young man who has passed away.”
