'We know that as families head into the New Year, the pressures on household budgets will continue'
A supermarket giant has announced it will stretch its £1 cafe deals to help customers as inflation worsens the cost-of-living crisis.
The 'Kids Eat for £1', 'Winter Warmers' and 'Blue Light' discount have all been extended until March 2023. Further, the 'Winter Warmers' deal inviting customers over 60 to enjoy a hot soup, a roll and unlimited tea and coffee in Asda cafes for £1 will continue as well. UK households were £107 a month worse off in November 2022 and disposable incomes could continue to decline, Asda's Income Tracker shows.
