Princess Road has reopened following an earlier crash
Just after 11:15pm on Saturday 29 April, three fire engines and a Technical Response Unit were called to attend the scene of a road traffic collision on Whitchurch Road, Manchester, involving two vehicles.
Crews arrived quickly and firefighters rescued two people from the vehicles before transferring them into the care of colleagues from North West Ambulance Service.Two people rescued by fire crews Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that crews have rescued two people from vehicles involved in the crash. Photos from the scene show two cars with their roofs cut off.
