Police have locked down several streets in the Shettleston area
A major response is underway in the Shettleston area of Glasgow after potentially hazardous substances were found in a flat on Monday evening.
Altyre Street, Dalness Street, Ard Street, and Trainard Avenue have all been closed while police and other emergency services deal with the incident. "Altyre Street, Dalness Street, Ard Street and Trainard Avenue have been closed, and local residents have been evacuated as a precaution. Members of the public are asked to avoid the area. Enquiries into the incident are continuing."
