BREAKING: Major police presence as officers tape off Preston street - updates
Police and paramedics have descended on a Preston street following a serious incident.
A cordon has been put in place on Shelley Road from Roebuck Street to Eldon Street, according to witnesses. Lancashire Police officers and an air ambulance arrived at the scene at around 9.25am this morning . The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed. There are unconfirmed reports that a person has been stabbed.
One witness said: "There is a huge police presence and road taped off at Eldon Street junction. Police and air ambulance, not car accident related."This is a live blog. Scroll down for updates.
