It comes after a new strategy for integrating students into Nottingham was recently approved.
A major Nottingham student accommodation block hosting more than 700 bed spaces has been completed as the first residents move in. Unite Students has been working on the 705-bed Morriss House development, located on Derby Road next to the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus.
Tom Brewerton, the Group Development Director at Unite Students, said: "We're delighted to have completed our latest addition to the portfolio, Morriss House in Nottingham. Morriss House is an impressive property delivered on time and budget for the 2023/24 academic year.
Morriss House, named after the co-founder of a bike workshop which went on to become the Raleigh Cycle Company, is just one of several major PBSA projects taking place throughout Nottingham. Others include a 12-storey accommodation block which is due to be delivered at The Island Quarter.
