The right-hand turn lane at Church Way and Glenwell Road is part of a wider regeneration package

The Antrim Road will be fully closed for the next few weekends as the final stages of a project to develop a new right-hand turn lane at the road's junction with Church Way and Glenwell Road will take place.

Plans are also underway for the delivery of a new environmental improvement scheme which will introduce new paving, street furniture, and improved lighting to breathe new life into Glengormley. "The overall regeneration programme planned for Glengormley is very impressive and will greatly improve the attractiveness of the area and increase the footfall back into the town centre."Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 Antrim Road closed from 7pm on Saturday to 9pm on Sunday. Works will be taking place on the Antrim Road, country bound.
