If you ask any celeb about her makeup routine then she’ll likely have a go-to lipstick/liner/gloss combination that she always comes back to. For many it’s a Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk combo. Others are long-time MAC fans. For April Banbury, it’s Carmex and L’Oréal. We love a bargain queen.
We’ve hunted down the duo we think April is referring to: L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Lip Liner Couture in 630, £5.99 here, and Carmex Lip Balm, £3.10 here. Together, the two cost under a tenner. Unfortunately April doesn’t expand further on how she creates her signature pout, but from looking at the photo it would seem she lines most of her lips with the L’Oréal liner and then just uses the balm over the top to blend it together and to add shine.
Instagram Just the other week, old photos of MAFS bride Gemma Rose went viral when a follower shared their amazement at how different Gem looked without the signature red hair colour we’ve seen her wear on the series. Captioned "Natural is BACK", the snap also gives a glimpse at what she looked like with less ink, as a relatively small tattoo on one side of her neck is all that is visible in a plunging floral top.
