Emergency services have closed three lanes of the northbound stretch towards Lancashire, between J18 and J19 in Cheshire, as they deal with a crash. It is unclear yet what the cause of collision was but one vehicle was left overturned.According to National Highways, traffic officers and emergency services are now at the scene but a long delay is expected for anyone travelling towards that stretch. One lane of the four remains open.
A spokesperson said: "Lanes 1,2 and 3 of are closed on the #M6 north J18 - J19 near #Knutsford following a collision in which a vehicle has overturned. #TrafficOfficers and emergency services are working at the scene. Please allow extra time for your journey as 2 hour delays on the approach."
