Cumbria Police said a man in his 20s was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash on the M6 southbound at High Wreay
Emergency services were called to the M6 southbound at High Wreay, near Carlisle, shortly before 8pm last night . It followed reports of a single-vehicle vehicle collision involving a white BMW.
In a statement issued this morning, Cumbria Police said: "We are investigating a fatal collision that occurred yesterday evening on the M6 southbound at High Wreay. Officers were contacted at 7:53pm to the report of a one vehicle collision, involving a white BMW.
