An accident on the M6 Thelwall Viaduct Southbound at J21A is causing tailbacks to J25
this morning after a crash resulting in lane closure and miles of congestion.
Southbound traffic is backing up to J25 for Bryn due to an accident between J21A and J21 near Warrington. Emergency services, including National Highways officers, are on the scene. Traffic on the southbound carriageway was held for around 10 minutes and lane one of four remains closed for recovery works. Inrix, theIt said: "Long delays, one lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M6 Thelwall Viaduct Southbound from J21A M62 J10 to J21 A57 Manchester Road . Congestion to J25 . Travel time is around 40 minutes.
