However, while Mario can be seen happily congratulating the two, Luigi’s delayed reaction has people joking that he secretly doesn’t care or is unimpressed by the proposal. A video of the proposal was uploaded to TikTok by user bellabelli260, where you can see Mario and Luigi standing on opposite sides of the couple.
Luigi does eventually turn to clap as well but given how he’s just staring dead ahead for several seconds, what’s likely happened is he simply didn’t know what was going on at first.
