They had just closed the store
The owners of a vape shop and lounge that was crashed into by a car said it could have been 'very nasty' as it came less than half an hour after the business closed for the day. A white Volkswagen smashed through the front of Rustic Vapez in Mansfield Road, Sherwood, at 5.30pm on Friday, October 14.
"It happened half an hour after the shop had closed. This shop has become somewhat of a community for vapers and the chair in front of the window is where someone was sat until it closed. It could have been very nasty." The owners said they were covered by insurance, but predicted the shop would be forced to close for at least a couple of weeks.Mr Cobb found out about the crash through a phone call, and admitted he first thought it was a joke.
