LOVE Island star Wes Nelson made a thinly-veiled swipe at Molly-Mae Hague after she claimed appearing on the reality show did not help her career.documentary, Untold: Life After Love Island.Molly-Mae claims Love Island didn't help make her famoushelped him, Say Nothing singer Wes said: "You can bet your bottom dollar that I would've made sure I was in the position, one way or the other, 100 per cent.
"Has it helped me, has it boosted me? Of course. I'm not here to say it's not done anything for me, this is all my work. No, it has." He went on to add: "It's given me a platform. But how you use that platform is very, very important, because there's hundreds and hundreds of Islanders now that have had this platform."
Earlier this year Molly said she believed she would have been just as successful without ever appearing on the programme.
