LoveIsland's Samie Elishi shares surgery update with fans following cancer scare
Love Island star Samie Elishi has shared a surgery update after fans alerted her to a large lump on her neck which could be cancerous.
The TV star took to Instagram on Tuesday to update her fans and revealed that the surgery was "complete" while sharing a photo as she recovered in hospital.She went on to share with her 667K followers: "Surgery complete guys!"I'm now on rest duty but will be vlogging the recovery. Every day I receive soo many supportive messages from you guys [love heart emoji] forever grateful.
She plans on sharing her journey with her fans to help raise awareness and said that it is "so important we all know about these things." Taking to her YouTube channel Samie explained: "I didn't realise how bad tonsillitis could be, I was on an IV drip on the cruise to try and get food and water in me because I couldn't eat or drink. That was really bad.
