Ruchee Gurung tells of touching reason she went on loveIsland and who she will be rooting for in her exit interview
Love Island returned on Wednesday night following a cliff-hanging ending previously as two girls were left vulnerable to being booted from the villa, and the decision was in the hands of their fellow islanders.
Opening up about her experiences in her exit interview, the 24-year-old beautician explained her reasons for going into the lavish Mallorca villa to find love and who she will be rooting for on the outside now she has left. "I thought that Ella was going to get saved because she has a connection in there, I would have probably even nominated myself to go - I’m so happy that they chose her. I would want her to continue her journey. I’ve built a really good relationship with the girls and I’m such a girls’ girl."
When asked about who she was rooting for whilst watching the show when she gets back home, it was clear there are no bitter feelings about being axed above Glasgow contestant Ella.
