Lincolnshire officer under scrutiny for handling a volatile situation at a behavioural school. What really happened? 🚓🏫

A Lincolnshire Police officer, currently under investigation for misconduct, said that he"felt threatened" and was concerned for his own safety when dealing with a vulnerable school student.

After following a group of students to a kitchen area, he was met with"mocking laughter" and verbal abuse. Distressed, the Louth-based PC explained:"I felt scared. I felt like he was going to try and hurt me and so I gave a small push back." The boy, appearing agitated and"red-faced", then retaliated, pinning PC Wales down and landing two punches on his left bicep.
