ITV viewers did not find Lorraine's choice of tense appropriate when speaking about the missing mum-of-two

Lorraine Kelly has been slammed for her "wrong choice for words" during an interview about missing Lancashire mum Nicola Bulley.

When speaking to Jill, Lorraine asked: "There are lots of theories being put forward, you knew her very well, what's your gut feeling about all of this?" Another wrote said: "Urmmmmm #lorraine 'you KNEW her well she knows her well would have been better." One user wrote: "Lorraine's saying having hope after her past tense talking..!! What hope have you given."
