The branch closed its doors for the final time at 12.30pm on Thursday with a number of villagers gathering for a farewell group photo
Long-serving postmistress Marion Barnett and husband Kenneth have officially retired after 37 years running Errol Post Office.
The community was delighted to have the service remain open during these difficult times as people wanted to stay local and most people were working from home. Post Office area manager, Greg Blackmore, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Kenneth and Marion.
