Guests can enjoy wreath making and festive afternoon tea
A Liverpool restaurant has unveiled a programme of Christmas events including wreath making and festive afternoon tea.
The Wheelbarrow is situated next to Greenbank Sports Academy in South Liverpool and has had a makeover in time for the festive season. The venue is marking its first Christmas with a series of seasonal events for guests to enjoy. On December 1, The Wheelbarrow will be hosting an evening of natural wreath making, accompanied with a bowl of Scouse and glass of fizz. As well as the chance to create their own wreath, visitors can also enjoy live music and browse a local craft market.Festive afternoon tea will be coming to the venue on December 2 and 23.
There will also be the chance to enjoy afternoon tea accompanied by festive music from Allerton Brass Band on December 17. The event is priced at £35 per person and includes vegetarian and meat options. The Wheelbarrow's owner, Keith Perryman, said: "We have tried to cater for everyone this Christmas. We have a vibrant student population and are based in a neighbourhood between Sefton Park and Greenbank Park. We feel that we have a festive line-up to please all of our customers and suit all budgets and we look forward to welcoming our customers to celebrate our first Christmas at The Wheelbarrow.
